Hey Foodies!
My name is Asmaa Malik and I am a student at Georgia State University. College is expensive and not everyone has time to cook nor spend a ton of money eating out. Atlanta is FULL of yummy restaurants that most people seem to mistaken as expensive. Trust me, I used to be one of those people.
When I first moved to the city I spent way too much money on overpriced decent food that left me unsatisfied only because I didn’t have much time to cook. I was tired of hurting my wallet on mediocre food when I could be eating healthier and tastier food. So, I began to scout better food sources. Whether it was on the way to class, on the weekends with my friends, or exploring new areas of Atlanta; I found inexpensive and delicious restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries.
As a student, I understand what it’s like to be broke…and I mean -85 cents in my bank account broke. Essentially, I have created this blog in efforts to reach more students and other foodies in Atlanta who want to enjoy what they’re eating while also staying on a budget.
